“If your Teeth could talk, what would they Say?”  We challenge you to answer this question.

Would your teeth say:

“We hurt.” “We’re ugly.” “We’re stained.”
“Take care of me.” “Please brush and floss more.” “No more sugary drinks.”
“We’re crooked.” “Please clean me.” “We need to see a dentist.”

What’s happening in your mouth affects your overall health. With proper care and regular visits to the dentist, you can see big improvements in the health of your teeth and gums as well as your body’s health.

Connecticut Oral Health Initiative

It is the mission of the Connecticut Oral Health Initiative through its Let’s Talk Teeth campaign to raise awareness about the importance of dental health on a person’s overall health. Through education, community activities and events, we want to motivate Connecticut residents to care for the teeth of both young and old with the tools they need to improve their oral health.

Through advocacy, coalition building, and education, we seek to create a public conscience that helps establish an oral health standard for all residents of our state. Individuals and other organizations can help us bring this goal to fruition by supporting our work, and assisting those who cannot afford the professional oral care they need to maintain the optimal health of teeth and gums.

If you would like to become involved in the Connecticut Oral Health Initiative, contact us at your earliest convenience. We would be more than happy to educate you about available resources, as well as how to become a supporter. Our efforts are focused on promoting positive oral health throughout the state of Connecticut.
